Why do companies need resource groups? There are four key reasons: recruitment, retention, talent development and market outreach. Organizations that have embraced ERGs have found themselves expanding these groups to include veterans and individuals with disabilities, in response to the OFCCP changes to Section 503 and 4212. There are often challenges associated with both – Self ID as one- and even more so, a need to integrate them with existing ERG’s.
